Gundrun Beaker (née Halfdanarson) is the late mother of Loki Beaker and Erin Singles, and wife of Bjorn Beaker. Her parents were Leif Halfdanarson and Ingibjorg Halfdanarson. During her life, she resided in Strangetown, one of the three neighborhoods that shipped with the game.

According to Gundrun's SimDNA in SimPE she had brown hair before it turned grey. Although she has brown eyes in her thumbnail, her genetics are for grey eyes. The reason for this is because she has a corrupted face. Gundrun also bears a faint resemblance to Violene Sutter, a former resident of Riverblossom Hills. She and her family might have Icelandic and Swedish roots.. According to her age data in SimPE, she had 32 days left in the elder life stage when she died.

Gundrun makes an appearance in The Sims 3 as a playable adult living in Aurora Skies, alongside her husband Bjorn and their children, Loki and Erin. She works in the Business career as a Corporate Drone, and has 5 points in both the Athletic and Writing skills. When the family is first played in Aurora Skies, Gundrun is 12 days away from becoming an elder.

Interestingly, Gundrun's name is misspelled. Gudrun is a fairly common Nordic name, however, and all the Nordic translations, as well as the German and Italian ones spell it correctly.
