Lucia Riley (née Kupyi) is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims that resided during her lifetime in Belladonna Cove, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. She was the daughter of Paul and Cecelia Kupyi, the wife of Seamus Riley, the mother of Timothy Riley, and the paternal grandmother of Sally Riley. Lucia is completely resurrectable, even though she doesn't have a grave. She has the Popularity aspiration, and the Aries zodiac sign. As far as personality, Lucia is very outgoing, somewhat active, and a little bit neat. But she is quite serious and grouchy. According to Lucia's SimDNA in SimPE, her hair was brown before it turned grey. According to her age data, she had 18 days left in the elder life stage when she died.

Lucia uses the 2nd Maxis face template in Create a Sim, except the eyes use the 11th face template. Also the eyes are slightly closer to the forehead, and the jaw is longer than on the default faces. However the eyes are only slightly closer to the forehead, and the jaw is only longer on teenage, adult and elder females, which may mean that the eyes and jaw were genetically passed down, as this oddity generally only occurs on Sims whose facial features were genetically passed down. Lucia's SimDNA in SimPE shows that her recessive alleles are for blonde hair and green eyes. Also her dominant skin tone range is for tanned skin, while her recessive skin tone range is for medium skin. However Lucia's dominant and recessive alleles are for tanned skin.

Unlike several other married ancestors from Apartment Life who have memories of their spouses, she only has Mystery Sim memories. However Lucia still has memories of giving birth to Timothy, and meeting her granddaughter Sally. Timothy's memories show that Lucia raised him alone, after her husband died while Timothy was a toddler. She is meant to be deceased, but her son has no memory of her dying, so it is assumed he wasn't present or informed of her death. This is normally impossible to happen in-game, since all Sims receive the memories of the deaths of their close relatives.

Resurrection tip
