Olivia Riley (née Caer) is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during her lifetime in Belladonna Cove, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. She was the granddaughter of Steve and Maeve Caer, and Charlie and Christine Sarigar, the daughter of Sullivan and Tazanna Caer (née Sarigar), the wife of Timothy Riley, and the mother of Sally Riley. Olivia is completely resurrectable, and once Belladonna Cove is loaded for the first time after Apartment Life is installed, if the player loads the Belladonna Cove Art Museum Community lot before playing any of the families, her gravestone can be found there^{[confirmation needed]}. She has the Romance aspiration, and the Leo zodiac sign.

As far as personality, Olivia is extremely outgoing. But she is somewhat sloppy, lazy, and serious, and quite grouchy. Olivia is one of the few ancestral Sims to die as an adult, so she died a premature death. According to her age data, she had 29 days left in the adult life stage when she died. Olivia uses the 1st, 7th, 15th, and 27th Maxis face templates in Create a Sim. The ears and mouth use the 27th face template, the eyes and jaw use the 15th face, the eyebrows use the 1st face, and the nose uses the 7th face. Also the jaw is longer than on the default face. However the jaw is only longer on teenage, adult and elder females, which may mean that the jaw was genetically passed down, as this oddity generally only occurs on Sims whose facial features were genetically passed down.

Olivia's SimDNA in SimPE shows that her recessive alleles are for red hair and green eyes. Also her dominant skin tone range is for tanned skin, while her recessive skin tone range is for light skin. However Olivia's dominant and recessive alleles are for tanned skin. According to Timothy's bio, she died in a freak electrical accident, which devastated both Timothy and her daughter, Sally. According to Sally's memories, she was the one who potty trained her, and taught her how to talk. Unlike several other married ancestors from Apartment Life who have memories of their spouses, Olivia only has Mystery Sim memories. However she still has memories of giving birth to Sally.
