Strangetown

Strangetown is a premade neighborhood in the Sims 2, and is similar to real life Roswell, or any other small desert community. It is filled with mysteries, aliens stories, disappearing Sims, mad scientists, and possibly a serial killer.

It is incorporated into the Pleasantview plot, as a resident NPC is Bella Goth. Like all pre-made neighborhoods, the NPCs, that is townies and downtownies, are unique. Strangetown is also the neighborhood used in the The Sims 2 (Nintendo DS) and GBA versions of the games, although only Tank Grunt and Johnny Smith make an appearance.

Families

• Beaker: Loki and his wife, Circe, Loki's test subject Nervous Subject.
• Curious: The Curious brothers, Pascal, Vidcund and Lazlo.
• Grunt: General Buzz and his sons, Tank, Ripp and Buck.
• Loner: Ajay living alone.
• Singles: Lola Curious, Erin Beaker, Kristen Loste and Chloe Curious.
• Smith: Pollination Technician 9, his wife Jenny, their son Johnny, and daughter Jill
• Specter: Olive Specter and her orphaned niece, Ophelia Nigmos, with many ghosts. Some of the ghosts' names are Easter Eggs.

The Bella Factor

Strangetown is connected with the Pleasantview storyline, where Bella Goth has been abducted by aliens, and then left in Strangetown. However, the 'Strangetown Bella' is "fake", many fans remain determind to get the real Bella back. It is possible for Bella to return to her family, (see below) but the actual storyline remains that Bella in Strangetown is the "real" one. The Sims 3

• The Grunt Family: General Buzz Grunt will be a young adult living with his fiancee` Lyla
• The Beaker Family: Loki Beaker will be a scientist who is looking for a test subject.
• The Curious Family: Pascal Curious will be an adult, while teenager Vidcund will be going steady with Circe Beaker. Lazlo Curious will be a child and Kitty Curious will still be alive.
• The Smith Family: Jenny Curious will be living with her husband Pollination Technician#9 and they're expecting their first child Johnny
• The Longer Family: Ajay will be a child living with his maternal grandmother.
• The Singles Family: Chloe and Lola will be teenagers living with their friends Erin Beaker and Kristin Loste
• The Specter Family: Ichabod Specter will be a lonely old man living by himself.
• The Nigmos Family: Willow and Creon will be adults living with their child daughter Ophelia and Willow's pregnant sister Olive
