Haha, thanks! Yeah I noticed that the defaultsort tags are painfully out of date and I'm going to update them and probably do a couple of other things while I think of it. I prefer to use the bot account to distinguish between awb and non-awb edits. I've still got a bunch of fanon pages to fix the defaultsort tags on which is what I intended to use the flags for so as not to flood recentchanges. Fanon

Why did you edit my page about that cat to note that it needed cleanup to fit the standards? I had already put the under construction template, I already know there's barely anything on it yet.

Because it doesn't meet the standards as is, if you improve it I'll remove it. Remember quantity =/= quality although it is somewhat of a factor. This is an example of what I would state of meeting standards, although you probably would not need to make it this long. RE: Reverting message

The reason was because of some of the context in one of the earlier revisions the anon made - programming can be a massive pain in the *** to do because - which I mistook as bad faith and / or spamming. I've been busy with work for ages, now i've come back to this wikia and you've deleted three of my wikias for no reason at all? I am so annoyed as my others are fine, but a random three has been deleted. I put my time into everything on them!! Your page was literally just a simbio template. If you read the fanon standards you'd know I have every right to delete them on the spot and I was being lenient by actually giving you time to improve them. MediaWiki:Wikia.css

At a quick glance I think you can just do it by changing background-color: #FFFFFF; in the template to whatever colour you want, at least that's what the edit preview screen is showing me. Let me know if it doesn't work. ―ฬђ ^talk 00:11, December 3, 2014 (UTC)

My Wikia.css/Monobook.css/Common.css Again

Hey I was wondering if you could tell me how to change the background template colours for templates like [The Sims Wiki|these ones]], since I want to know how to modify the colours for templates on my test wiki.

On the Sims wiki there are several different templates and several different colours. On my test wiki, the only background colour is the one for my wikitable. Apparently it now serves as the default option for all similar templates I make.

All other colours won't show on the template, for example when I try to add the "blue" colour to the welcome template, the colour doesn't show.

Many of the main page templates (read: all) weren't written by me but I'll have a look over them. I'm not really sure what you're trying to do but I believe you would be able to do something like the assorted family nav templates on your wiki, if its a coloured template you're looking for. These don't require any type of .css modification and can be used on any wiki. If you're talking about the header thing on the template that's controlled by a div class which is essentially a set of rules for a specific amount of text which is contained within the tags. We use a bunch of div classes on TSW which are defined through common.css. For instance:

            font-size: 100%;
            font-weight: bold;
    -webkit-border-radius: 5px;

When added to .css, you can type <div class=headingblue>text</div> to produce

. Its worth messing around with div classes a bit to get the hang of them because they can be used to good effect. I'm pretty sure by adding that to your common.css file your problem will be fixed, assuming I'm understanding correctly. Additionally, you might want to do a ctrl+f of "div" on tsw's common css page because there might be some other things that you could use, i.e .headinggreen which is used in the social media/reminders sidebar in wikiActivity.
