Consort Capp is a premade sim living in the [[Veronaville]] neighborhood in [[The Sims 2]]. He is the widower of [[Contessa Capp|Contessa]], and the grandfather and guardian of teenagers [[Tybalt Capp|Tybalt]], [[Juliette Capp|Juliette]] and [[Hermia Capp|Hermia]]. He is the bitter enemy of [[Patrizio Monty]], [[Isabella Monty]], [[Antonio Monty]], [[Bianca Monty]] and [[Romeo Monty]]. Consort holds a job as a CEO in the [[Business]] career track.
He is the son of the late [[Hector Thebe|Hector]] and [[Andromache Thebe]]. When marrying [[Contessa Capp]], he gave into their matrilineal traditions and took her last name. He is the patriarch of the house of the Capp family. He had a total of four children, [[Goneril Capp|Goneril]], [[Regan Capp|Regan]], [[Kent Capp|Kent]], and [[Cordelia Capp|Cordelia]]. Cordelia died in a [[fire#Death by fire|fire]], alongside her [[Caliban Capp|husband]], which is often talked about being involved in the feud against the [[Monty family|Montys]].

Consort returns alongside his family in the store world [[Roaring Heights]]. He is a [[young adult]], living with his wife [[Contessa Capp|Contessa]] and their children [[Goneril Capp|Goneril]] and [[Regan Capp|Regan]]. His wife is [[pregnant]] with their [[Kent Capp|third child]] at the start of the game.


He is employed as a Vice President in the [[Business]] career. He is good friends with his children, friends with [[Donna Morgan]] and is acquainted with two of her three children, [[Carolyn Morgan|Carolyn]] and [[Evelyn Morgan|Evelyn]], and his boss. Consort lives in an [[Capp Manor|English-style home]] with his three orphaned grandchildren: [[Tybalt Capp|Tybalt]], [[Juliette Capp|Juliette]], and [[Hermia Capp|Hermia]]. He is sworn enemies with [[Patrizio Monty]], patriarch of the [[Monty family]]. They were best friends and co-workers until their rivalry over Contessa and Patrizio getting fired started their feud. He holds a job as a CEO in the Business career. When first playing the Capps, Consort will want to retire from his job as a CEO. His wife Contessa seems to have recently died because it is the last [[memory]] that Consort has.
* I had Consort marry a very beautiful (and much younger) CAS Sim I had named Henrietta. He was head over heels for her and left her 20,000 simoleons when he died of poison (downloaded) given to him by Tybalt, who wanted Henrietta for himself.


Although 10 members of his family are old enough to work in a career at the start of the game, Consort is the only one of them who has a job. When first played, he is 56 days old, being on his 3rd day as an elder, with 9 days left before dying of old age. According to his Sim DNA in [[Package editor#SimPE|SimPE]], his hair was black before it turned gray. This is unusual, considering his hair is blonde in the [[Capp family]] storytelling images and ''The Sims 3'', and none of his ancestors had any genes for black hair. This may be an oversight by the developers.
* I had Hermia Die in a fire when Tybalt and Juliet were at College. He then moved away from the house, manages Red's famous 50's diner, and repaired His friendship with Patrizio.


Consort is known to be the shoving Sim when a Sim from another household stargazes with a [[telescope]] during the day. Uniquely, he is not the first playable Sim created in Veronaville, [[Bottom Summerdream]] is; she has the lowest instance number when viewed in SimPE. But because Bottom is only a child, she cannot shove other Sims; Consort is chosen instead as he is the second playable. If Bottom ages into an adult, she will become the shoving Sim. If Consort or any Sim residing in Capp Manor stargazes with a telescope, [[Patrizio Monty]] will be the shoving Sim instead.
* After retiring, Consort became a influencial local figure within Veronaville and he allowed the marriage of Romeo and Juliet, soon after however Tybalt died of electrocution due to a faulty TV. Romeo and Juliet had a child called Leo, however soon after both died, with Romeo dying in a gun fight (one of my mods) with Antonio and Juliet dying of depression which saw her drown herself, that then saw Consort and Hermia left to look after Leo.


There is a hidden [[Package editor#SimPE|SimPE]] thumbnail of Consort wearing the same shirt as his father, [[Hector Thebe]] and with blond hair but gray eyebrows, and stubble. Also, Consort appears to be an elder, hence his facial features and wrinkles, which is unusual given that the outfit is only available to adults.
*I played around with each of the Capp and Monty families, in a certain order. I had Consort take over the real estate office in Bluewater village, which is now called Capp Real Estate Office. Then I had Kent fall in love with Bianca Monty, and move out of Regan and Cornwall's home to live in a new one with Bianca, where she became Bianca Capp. Then I went to Goneril's home and got her a job as a doctor, while her husband Albany got one as a politician. One of their daughters, Miranda Capp, is another rebellious one and is fooling around with Mercutio Monty, Romeo's brother, but at the same time, she's also fooling with other sims around the neighborhood. At Consort's home, Tybalt grows up and moves out, while Consort is angered as Romeo is seen around the house with Juliette a lot more often. Hermia however, has her eye on Puck Summerdream. Consort is promoted to business Tycoon, and also develops a lady friend. Over at Regans, she and Cornwall are expecting their first child. While she is pregnant, Regan is a junior executive in business, while Cornwall is a Campaign person in politics, they soon get more promotions. Regan soon gives birth to a baby boy, whom they name Julius Jeremy Capp (i give them middle names, but do not actually put them in the name itself for they would be too long). He is the first grandson for Consort in many years, and also was the start of a small baby boomer for Capp grandchildren. After he is about 3 days old, I go to Kent amd Bianca. Over at Kent's new home, Bianca falls pregnant with their first child. By this time, Kent has his job back and is a top secret researcher, while Bianca is a nurse. After a few days, another Capp is born. Bianca gives birth to a baby boy, whom they name Lysander Escobar Capp. This child is very special, because he is the first creation of both Capp, and Monty blood. After this child turns about 1 and a half days old, I move to Goneril and Albany, whom of which fall pregnant with their fifth child. Soon. Goneril goves birth once again, to a bouncing baby boy, whom they name Hamlet Gabriel Capp. He is the last of the baby boomer. (i keep ages consistent, so i always make sure that Julius stays a little older than Lysander and Hamlet, and that Lysander stays a little older than Hamlet). Then I go to Tybalt. He marries a young woman named Melanie. She becomes pregnant, but I leave it at that for the time being. I then go to Consort's manor, where Juliette finally becomes and adult. Romeo is also an adult, and when Juliette visits him for a date, it ends in them sleeping together(I've got an interesting story line planned for these two!). After they finish, Romeo proposes to Juliette, and she accepts. She leaves ecstatic, while Romeo has a feeling of slight dread. He will soon learn that his flirtatious habits will die hard, but he's linked himself with Juliette forever, even if they aren't married(this part of the storyline is for later on, not now). Juliette moves out of Capp Manor and finds her own place to start he life with Romeo. I then go from lot to lot, making sims older and more succesful. Soon I end up back at Tybalt's place, where his wife Melanie gives birth to their first two children, twin boys, whom they name Sebastian Consort Capp, and Horatio Barron Capp(at this time the baby boomers are either children or almost children). Tybalt has made it to MVP as an athelete, while Melanie is a desk clerk at a law office. Then at Kent's, Bianca becomes pregnant with their second child. She has yet to give birth. My Capp storyline ends here for now. I will add more once i've accomplished more. Consort taught his children some toddler skills, but they do not have any memory of it. In one of the Monty family storytelling images, Consort has a hairstyle that can only be accessed in [[Create a Sim]] with debugging mode on.

Though his name wasn't drawn from any of the characters from Shakespeare's plays, Consort's character plays a very similar role to Lord Capulet from Romeo and Juliet and the titular character from King Lear.

Even though Consort has reached level 5 of the Business career, he doesn't have the [[Career rewards#Execuputter|corresponding career reward]] available for him to purchase. Patrizio, Isabella, and Antonio Monty also have this quirk.

Consort Capp (né Thebe) is a pre-made Sim living in Veronaville in The Sims 2. Earlier in his life, he went on a vacation with his family in Roaring Heights.

He is the son of the late Hector and Andromache Thebe. When marrying Contessa Capp, he gave into their matrilineal traditions and took her last name. He is the patriarch of the house of the Capp family. He had a total of four children, Goneril, Regan, Kent, and Cordelia. Cordelia died in a fire, alongside her husband, which is often talked about being involved in the feud against the Montys.

Life leading up to The Sims 3[edit | edit source]

Consort returns alongside his family in the store world Roaring Heights. He is a young adult, living with his wife Contessa and their children Goneril and Regan. His wife is pregnant with their third child at the start of the game.

He is employed as a Vice President in the Business career. He is good friends with his children, friends with Donna Morgan and is acquainted with two of her three children, Carolyn and Evelyn, and his boss. He has 4 skill points in charisma at the start of the game.

Life leading up to The Sims 2[edit | edit source]

Consort lives in an English-style home with his three orphaned grandchildren: Tybalt, Juliette, and Hermia. He is sworn enemies with Patrizio Monty, patriarch of the Monty family. They were best friends and co-workers until their rivalry over Contessa and Patrizio getting fired started their feud. He holds a job as a CEO in the Business career. When first playing the Capps, Consort will want to retire from his job as a CEO. His wife Contessa seems to have recently died because it is the last memory that Consort has.

Although 10 members of his family are old enough to work in a career at the start of the game, Consort is the only one of them who has a job. When first played, he is 56 days old, being on his 3rd day as an elder, with 9 days left before dying of old age. According to his Sim DNA in SimPE, his hair was black before it turned gray. This is unusual, considering his hair is blonde in the Capp family storytelling images and The Sims 3, and none of his ancestors had any genes for black hair. This may be an oversight by the developers.

Consort is known to be the shoving Sim when a Sim from another household stargazes with a telescope during the day. Uniquely, he is not the first playable Sim created in Veronaville, Bottom Summerdream is; she has the lowest instance number when viewed in SimPE. But because Bottom is only a child, she cannot shove other Sims; Consort is chosen instead as he is the second playable. If Bottom ages into an adult, she will become the shoving Sim. If Consort or any Sim residing in Capp Manor stargazes with a telescope, Patrizio Monty will be the shoving Sim instead.

There is a hidden SimPE thumbnail of Consort wearing the same shirt as his father, Hector Thebe and with blond hair but gray eyebrows, and stubble. Also, Consort appears to be an elder, hence his facial features and wrinkles, which is unusual given that the outfit is only available to adults.

Consort taught his children some toddler skills, but they do not have any memory of it. In one of the Monty family storytelling images, Consort has a hairstyle that can only be accessed in Create a Sim with debugging mode on.

Though his name wasn't drawn from any of the characters from Shakespeare's plays, Consort's character plays a very similar role to Lord Capulet from Romeo and Juliet and the titular character from King Lear.

Even though Consort has reached level 5 of the Business career, he doesn't have the corresponding career reward available for him to purchase. Patrizio, Isabella, and Antonio Monty also have this quirk.
