Body is a skill in both the sims 1 and sims 2.

Sims 1

The Body skill determines the sim's physical prowess and is useful in some jobs that require needs to being strong such as the military and law enforement career. High body skill also increases your chances of winning a fight, stay skiing without falling over, and earning points in games found in many vacation spots.

There are a few ways of increasing the skill. Firstly, a Sim can swim, and although there isn't a blue bar to indicate they are gaining Body points, they actually are. Another method is to use the exercise machine. In House Party, the Mechanical Bull is introduced, which also increases your Body skill; the higher it becomes, the longer you can stay on the bull without being thrown off.

Sims 2

  • Gym equipment- includes the treadmill and all the work benches. Animations change as body skill increases. Hygiene and energy decrease quickly. Teens, adults and elders can use this equipment. Also, introduced by Nightlife Expansion Pack, is the Dance Sphere. When a teen gains at least eight body points, he/she is then able to gain the Hogan Scholarship for Athletics (University only).
