Gems, metals, space rocks, beetles, and butterflies are collectibles from The Sims 3.World Adventures introduces the collecting of relics and fragments (from sarchophagus, dive wells etc.) which can be assembled to create a certain objects. With the Ambitions Expansion you can also collect Lesser Spirits
The lifetime reward Collection Helper can highlight the collectibles on the map.
