Evan Newbie is a Sim in SimVille. He is the youngest son of Dan and Betty Newbie, and the younger brother of Justin Newbie.

Evan is the second-born child in his family. According to birth order theorists, second-born children are used to not being first, and value social connections outside of the family more than their older sibling. While the Newbies are known for being extremely outgoing and juggling countless friendships at a time, Evan maintains fewer friendships, but is closer and more personal with them. Evan is also willing to leave behind his comforts to be with a friend he's close with. Most children tend to invite Evan over for this very reason.

Despite their differences, Evan is heavily influenced by his older brother, as seen by his bronze gardening and fishing talent badges and his interest in sports.

Evan was taught to walk by Dan, taught to talk by Betty, and potty trained by Amar. He was also taught a nursery rhyme by his older brother as a toddler.
