Al Simhara is a town/neighbourhood introduced in The Sims 3: World Adventures along with Shang Simla and Champs Les Sims. It is found in Egypt and features activities and items that compliment Egyptian culture. This town features fully explorable Pyramids, famous Egyptian Landmarks including the Sphinx and Temple of Queen Hapshepsut, and many quests to experience. 


  • An Egyptian trip will cost 1600 simoleons for the first sim and 1000 for each additional sim
  • Al Simhara is set in a town near the sand dunes, pyramids and the Sphnix. Sims can explore the Abu Simbel temple or the template of Queen Hapshepsut
  • At night, the Egyptian pyramids light up from the bases
  • On the Egyptian horizon, one can see heat waves during the day
  • Photography is the new skill for Egypt
  • National dishes of Egypt include falafel and shawarma
  • In Egypt, sims can purchase dried food from the market
  • Snake charming is introduced and charmers must purchase a basket from an Egyptian store
  • Tombs to visit inside Egypt include the pyramids, the Sphnix and Desert’s End. All have several tombs inside.

The name may be referencing the Sahara Desert of Egypt.
