The chinese garden (or Zen garden) is a new community lot and a lot assignment for The Sims 3 introduced via The Sims 3: World Adventures expansion pack.
As a lot assignment, chinese gardens provide the Zen moodlet:
Image | Moodlet Name | Mood Effect | Time Period | From | Game Dialog/Description | Notes | Expansion |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Zen | +20 | - | Scholar's Garden | Only a place jam-packed with tranquility could promote such a powerful feeling of Zen. Namaste! | While Sims have this moodlet they gain a boost to their Logic skill building, and they also gain a boost to the meditation skill which falls within the Martial Arts skill. |
By default the chinese garden lot is only accessible in the travel destination Shang Simla, however it can be set using the Create a World tool and it will function correctly in the base game, The Sims 3.
