Avant garde
Avant Garde is a mental trait introduced in The Sims 3: University Life. It conflicts with Can't Stand Art and Easily Impressed. It is first available for teens.
Avant Garde Sims know what's art and what's not, and don't mind letting others know. It's tough to please an Avant Garde type!
Attributes
- Your Sim will increase their Street Art skill at a faster rate.
- Paintings and Sculptures created by your Sim are worth more Simoleons.
- Your Sim will sometimes feel important when critiquing others.
Special Interactions
- Avant Garde Sims can write Poetry at Writing level 2, and Satire at Writing level 4.
- Your sim will be able to 'Critique' any piece of art, whether it's theirs or not.
