The Sims 3

Commitment Issues is a social trait from The Sims 3. It conflicts with Hopeless Romanticand it is first available for teens.

Sims with Commitment Issues don't really want to settle down into a long-term relationship or a lifelong career. Marriage is out of the question!

Attributes

  • The Sim will need an extraordinarily high relationship with another Sim before they will feel comfortable committing to a relationship.
  • The Sim may want to change career paths if they feel cooped-up in their current vocation.
  • The Sim can "Fret over Commitment" if involved in a committed relationship.

Player Notes

  • Provides a bonus to Sims writing in the Drama genre.
  • Divorce or break-ups will be easier for this Sim. If the Commitment-issued person is dumped by his/her other half, he/she will actually get a plus in relationship and will not fret over it.

Possible lifetime wishes

These are the lifetime wishes that may appear as an attainable wish, as they all include breaking-off commitment at one point in their life.

  • Jack of All Trades
  • Heartbreaker
  • Gold Digger
