Not to be confused with Good (The Sims Medieval).

Good is a lifestyle trait in The Sims 3. It conflicts with the Evil trait, and is available from birth. Good Sims go out of their way to help friends and family in need, are charitable with their money and frequently conduct those around them.

Attributes

  • A Good Sim can donate to charities once a day by clicking on the mailbox.
  • A Good Sim doesn't generally consider performing mean interactions on other Sims.
  • Good Sims will not have negative reactions to social interactions as often as other Sims.

Unlocked Interactions

  • Good Sims can use 'Brighten Day' interaction, which will give target Sims a 'Brighten Day' moodlet.

Player Notes

  • A Good Sim gives other Sims the 'Comforted' moodlet when comforting another Sim.
  • A Sim with the Brave trait will not be able to fight a burglar, if they also have the Good trait.
  • Good Sims can still have the Mean Spirited trait, unless they also have the Friendly trait.
  • A golden halo will sometimes appear above the Good sims' head. The halo may also appear whenever the Good sim donates to charity.
  • It seems that if a Sim has the Good trait, then when you click the shower, it says 'Take Shower' instead of just 'Shower' as it is with other Sims.
  • Good Sims will never decide to commit a mean interaction towards other Sims (not even to their enemies) and if a mean interaction in commited on them, the 'Fight' option will not appear.
  • Good Sims can get along well with Friendly Sims unless Friendly Sim also has the Evil trait.
