The art gallery is a type of lot and also a lot assignment in The Sims 3.
Gameplay descriptions

- Sims with the Artistic trait.

- Sims with the Can't Stand Art trait.
- Encourages NPCs to learn
- NPCs are encouraged to use the Painting skill on this lot.
Every time a Sims learning the Painting skill sells a painting directly from the easel there is a 20% chance that painting will replace a wall decoration item in the local art gallery.
