The art gallery is a type of lot in The Sims 3.


Sims with the Artistic trait like to visit art galleries. Every time a Sims learning the Painting skill sells a painting directly from the easel there is a 20% chance that painting will replace a wall decoration item in the local art gallery.

The Sunset Institute of Modern Art is the default art gallery lot for Sunset Valley. It is a large glass-fronted building, featuring a collection of strangely colored sculptures and paintings.

The La Gallerie d'Art is the default art gallery lot for Champs Les Sims, and it was the only new premade art gallery introduced in The Sims 3: World Adventures. It contains tombs. It is a very large building, acting more a museum than an art gallery. It hold numerous rare items like the Cursed Sarcophagus of the Kings.
