Fishing spot is a community lot assignment in The Sims 3.

Fishing spots attract Sims with the Angler trait. They are excellent for raising the Fishing skill, and often contain rare fish spawners.

Rare Deathfish are usually found at night on cemetery lots, not fishing spots.

Ship's Oasis

Ship's Oasis in Al Simhara.

Ship's Oasis is a landlocked fishing spot with a ship wrecked beside it. There is no hint as to how the ship got there, but it may suggest that Al Simhara was once underwater. This lot contains rare foreign fish including frogs, siamese catfish, crocodiles, and mummyfish. The ship here is not on the lot, it is a Create a World object and the lot intersects it. Sims can route through Create a World objects when they intersect with lots, but this lot is designed to prevent that happening.
