Release date controversy

According to Best Buy it could be released on September 7, 2010[2]. According to another rumor it's September 9, 2010.[3] This could be differences in North American and European release dates.

The official announcement so far is 'Fall 2010'[1]

Initial rumors

It first appeared as a rumor and was later listed on Amazon's French site[4] as well as on the Best Buy[2] and EA Store sites[5]. It was later confirmed by an EA sales rep to a 'Featured Simmer' (See image) who has preordered the stuff pack from the EA Store and finally on June 28, 2010, same day as the official announcement, 'product features' were revealed by Amazon[6].
