Concern over sponsor ads
Some Simmers expressed concern over the amount of sponsor ads which might be placed in this stuff pack, especially on the Racing theme jumpsuits and Formula 1 racers[citation needed]. The first screenshots released of the stuff pack and the recent change in the Sims 3 EULA seemed to coincide. SimGuruJenn posted a response on TheSims3.com forum:

There are a number of folks expressing concern about the new ‘sponsor-laden racing jumpsuits’ in The Sims 3: Fast Lane Stuff pack and I want to clear up any confusion about these clothing items. The sponsors displayed on the jumpsuits are fictitious companies and all the text is written in Simlish. Real ads will not appear on this clothing. The kids' uniforms even have a cute frog logo on them! I’m really excited about the cars, clothing and other cool objects that are in this stuff pack and can’t wait until we can share more with you!" |
