Price concerns

Several users from The Sims 3 forums had expressed concerns[3][4][5] of the pack's price being US$30, €30 and £25 compared to US$20, €20 and £10 which is the price of other stuff packs. However, the pack's price is the same in Japan as it costs ¥1480 just like other stuff packs.

Some users said that Katy Perry's contract may be the cause of the price increase as they also compared it with Showtime: Katy Perry Collectors Edition. Other users said that it was due to the fact that the pack has a lot of contents.
