Personality is a feature in The Sims Social, which similar to aspiration at The Sims 2, but different with traits on game itself. Players can choose their Sim personality at the beggining of the game. After choosing one, you can change it to another personality but it cost 50 SimCash to change.

List of Personality

Currently, there are 9 different personalities, which affect a Sim's lifestyle. Each personality has special actions and animations on Sims. They are:

Socialite	Socialite Sims are either the center of attention or they're elbowing their way into it.	Popularity Aspiration, Friendly and Schmoozer trait
Rocker	Masters of the air guitar and singing in the shower. May ever learn a real instrument one day.	Virtuoso and Rocker trait
Introvert	More likely to be found in deep thought than deep conservation, introverts prefer their own company.	Genius trait
Tycoon	For tycoon Sims, money isn't everything. It's MUCH more important than that.	Fortune Aspiration
Athlete	Life isn't a journey to an athletic Sim, it's a triathlon, and they're determined to get 1st place.	Athletic trait
Romance	Falling in love comes as easily to them as their natural charm. Just don't go breaking their hearts.	Romance Aspiration
